Roosevelt High School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in our Structured Learning Classroom (SLC). The ideal candidate will assist the classroom teacher in providing individualized instruction, behavior support, and daily living skills to students with special needs.
Responsibilities:

Support students’ academic and functional learning under teacher direction

Assist with classroom management and student supervision

Help implement IEP goals and accommodations

Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and staff to support student success
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or higher preferred)

Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus

Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
