In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute teacher provides instruction, encourages student progress, and manages the learning environment. The substitute teacher position is responsible for always ensuring student safety by supervising classroom management. 

 

• This position reports directly to the Substitute Coordinator.
• Choose the days you work.
• Manage your own assignments via a smartphone app.
• After applying and passing the background check, substitute teachers will need to be fingerprinted.  The cost of fingerprinting is $48.25.
• Substitutes for the 2023-24 school year will attend a day of training in August 2023.
